The idea of ponerology is to science as the work of Henry Darger is to
art, or Scientology is to religion. I prefer to gather my ideas from
reputable scientists and don't see why the existing disciplines aren't
enough to accommodate a discussion of evil.
I wonder which is more dangerous, psychopathy or crackpot-ism.

I have been reading about how psychopaths have infiltrated society and for
millennia have caused terrible disruption, suffering and even war. I am
fascinated by the classic work "Political Ponerology" and wondered how many
of you were familiar with it.

Icke is a nutjobs nut. I can appreciate a good conspiracy theory, and I
might even believe one or two, but this guy makes Art Bell look
overly-cautious and boring. Icke is the least of my worries.

It seems the original Author of the series (who is LDS) seems to have integrated many transhumanist themes into this show. I'm sure I'm not the first of you to notice this but I thought it was interesting with the idea of Cylons and humans, their relationship to each other and the Destruction of the human race except those who were "caught up" and travel to Kobol (anagram for Kolob) to get to "earth" (as we know from modern revelation that it will be the Celestial Kingdom.) not to mention other tidbits such as the "Quorum of Twelve."

Frank, it's still very possible that the Maccabees interpretation of
this statement is different from yours. I don't personally know, but
there are other possibilities, in fact, my bet would be that their
version is quite different from more recent versions of ex nihilo.

Try Beethoven! He, more than any other composer, struggled to go beyond
the human condition, esp. in his last works. He is like Cézanne in
